The European Space Agency co-organized together with the University of Leeds, the 12^th International Workshop on “Advances in the Science and Applications of SAR Interferometry and Sentinel-1 InSAR” – FRINGE 2023. The workshop took place at the University of Leeds, UK, from 11 to 15 September 2023. Dr. Rosa Colacicco had the opportunity to present one of our studies entitled ‘SAR Interferometry to detect badlands erosion’. She showed some experiments on long time series of C-band Sentinel-1 SAR images, with the aim to investigate badland erosion processes through integration of geomorphic digital elevation analysis, rainfall, and satellite PSInSAR data, on different test sites in the Basilicata region, in southern Italy.
